

Every player, coach, and staff member are required to read & understand all CBA Policies. Keep in mind that our players, parents, and staff represent CBA, Marucci, and the rest of our partners; as well as your family, your school, and for some USA Baseball and your country.Familiarizing yourself with these guidelines will help you understand how we operate as a program competitively on and off the field.
EQUIPMENT POLICY

CBA Players must wear CBA issued attire during workouts/practices.

All players will use Marucci Wood Bats and Batting Gloves in all high school aged wood bat events - ordered through the discounted CBA Marucci site. Youth players can continue to use their current bat of choice.
TRAVEL/HOTEL POLICY
CBA Travel/Hotel Policies pertain to players traveling to events and during your stay at travel events.

Be on time to team meetings/affairs

Players in polo shirts, khaki or dress shorts/pants during off hours while walking around hotel or outside of the hotel.

No caps indoors or worn backwards

Shoes worn at all times
-
Professional behavior and curfews maintained
-
No swimming unless all games have been played and no games the next day
-
Proper travel and hotel attire while at events consists of casual dress shorts (Khaki style), slacks, jeans, collared shirt (button down or polo), and shoes (no sandals).

We will exemplify professionalism as a program on and off the field

No cursing in public
-
No girls, alcohol, or drugs (tobacco included) allowed. This is a zero tolerance policy and players will be excused from the event immediately.

You will be sent home at your parents' expense if travel/hotel rules are not followed.

Eye Black – will be worn as meant to be worn. No “war paint” or selfish designs

Glasses on back of cap or worn. No glasses on top front of cap. We prefer players to either wear their glasses or leave them in the dugout but we understand the need for flexibility.

No “hoods” under jerseys as an accessory.

No jewelry during, before, after competition (ex. ear rings, exposed necklaces)

Show up to the field in full uniform and athletic shoes (no flip flops, sandals, vans)

Players will exit their car in full CBA uniform to play and return to their car in full CBA uniform. No changing in dugouts or around fields.

Every player must be clean shaven for team events, including games, workouts, practices, travel, showcases, etc.

No facial hair whatsoever
-
No shaggy hair. Coaches/coordinators will dictate what hair length is appropriate.

No backwards caps

No caps indoors
PARENT POLICY
The following rules are in place to protect the integrity of the program as well as the growth of our players.
-
CBA Parents are to refrain from entering into the dugout or on the field before, during, or after games and practices.
-
If you need to speak with a CBA Coach/Staff Member, please get his attention off of the field and out of the dugout.
-
Please do not communicate with CBA Players during practice or while a game is in play. This includes all on-field practices and indoor workouts/classes and batting practices.
-
Make sure to provide water/gatorade before a game or practice begins.

Please conduct yourself with class during games and practices
-
There will be no negative remarks directed towards players, umpires, coaches, or other parents.
-
No heckling.
-
Mistakes will be made by players, umpires, and at times by coaches.
-
Parents must refrain from "coaching from the stands."
-
At the upper-levels, as a (College Development Program), everyone will get their work in on the field, and playing time will be handled fairly.
-
However, it will not be argued over with CBA coaches and staff.

Please keep good communication with your team coordinator about events, games, and practices.

Parents will be held accountable just as the players are for being on time for practices, games, and other events.

Please let your coordinator/coach know you will be running late or will not be able to make an event/practice. We understand that there are acceptable reasons for not always being on time or able to make events.

Keep in mind that no program is perfect. Our players and staff take pride in how they take the field and carry themselves. If a problem arises that you feel is necessary to give feedback on, please contact us.
